Sandra Bullock varies her workouts to keep from getting bored, doing everything from kickboxing to Pilates. "When I'm in Austin, I run or ride a bike," she said. "If I can work out every day, I will." It gives her energy and makes her feel good, she said.

Bullock works out daily, as her Bird Box co-star discovered. "The truth is, before set every day, she would show up in her workout [gear]," Trevante Rhodes said. "So she works out every day."

Bullock works out with Simone De La Rue, the inventor of the "Body by Simone" technique. "In each one-hour [Body by Simone] session, we do a full-body workout," De La Rue said. "There's always cardio like dance, jump roping or rebounding. Then we alternate between 10-minute intervals of high-intensity cardio and strength training moves that focus on different body parts."

Bullock chooses healthy foods. "Last night I had brown rice and black beans and some steamed vegetables," she said. She also makes a point to eat small portions and work with a nutritionist, Cynthia Pasquella.

Bullock works out about an hour a day at least six days a week. "She is extremely motivated and driven," De La Rue said. Mentally preparing to take on fitness challenges and goals is half the battle.
