One Direction fans were sent into a frenzy last night as an apparent new song was leaked onto YouTube. It was called Never Enough, and, if confirmed to be by the band, will be the first song released from their upcoming 5th album, the first without estranged member Zayn Malik.

There were many variations of the lyrics of the 30 second long clip, but most fans settled on the following: “I don’t need your love, you can take it, you can take it. I don’t need my heart, you wreck it, you break it.”

Fans online could not get enough of the song. One Twitter user clearly loved the track, saying, “I have been playing Never Enough non-stop since it leaked”. Others mocked One Direction, paying regard to their previously leaked songs from previous albums, by saying, “I didn’t realise the annual One Direction leak was upon us!”

There has been no comment from any members of One Direction.
